Holding on...

Holding on...
Some people say that if you want to change your life, you must change how you look at it. I don't know about that, but changing how you act is more important. If we can get people to act differently, we'll start seeing real change in the world. A few months ago, I came across a video that changed my perspective on life. The video was about stress management and how bottling our emotions can destroy us in the long run. In the video, the professor took a deep breath before entering the classroom. He knew that stress management was a topic that resonated with all his students, and he seemed excited to share his knowledge. After settling, he poured himself a full glass of water and raised it.
Everyone expected they'd be asked the typical question of whether the glass was empty or half full. But he had a twist; instead, the professor asked them how heavy is this glass of water he was holding.
The class went crazzzyy! The students were shouting answers from left to right. Some even kept shouting answers ranging from 30 ounces to a couple of kilos.

The professor replied by stating that the glass's weight didn't matter. It all depends on how long he held it. If one holds a glass of water for a minute or two, it's not a problem. If one holds it for an hour, their arm will ache. If one holds it for a day straight, their arm will feel numb and paralyzed, and if they kept the person there and forced them to keep holding it after that, they might die.
In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the amount of time one held it did.
I was skeptical, so I had to try it for myself, and the longer I held it, the heavier it felt to me. I'm still new to this blogging thing, and I struggled to find the proper conclusion for this blog. But if you made it this far, I appreciate your time.
